This may be a bit premature but I have been thinking about Winter a lot lately. The bulk of Winter is usually a huge inconvenience with the shoveling of sidewalks and the scraping of car windshields and the struggle to keep our homes and our bodies appropriately heated and figuring out how much extra time to add to our commutes to anywhere. In light of these hurdles I have compiled a list of things that keep me keepin' on through these long, cold and sometimes hopeless nights that lie ahead.
Adding a "kick" to my hot cider or coffee.
Seeing my breath.
Hats, mittens and scarfs.
Winter coats.
Holiday lights.
Feeling the drastic change in temperature when going from inside to outside and outside to inside.
Fireplaces.
Icicles.
The guys who want to shovel my sidewalk so I don't have to.
Sledding and ski vacations.
